Get your waterproofing experience formally recognised with a Certificate III through RPL.
The Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing is for waterproofers who apply membranes and coatings to protect buildings and their structure. It covers preparing surfaces and applying waterproofing systems to internal wet areas, external above-ground areas and below-ground areas, remedial waterproofing and assessing waterproofing work. Through Recognition of Prior Learning, your existing skills, knowledge and experience are assessed against the qualification requirements. Further evidence, assessment or training may be required where gaps are identified.
Waterproofers (and tilers or builders who do a lot of waterproofing) with practical experience across wet areas and external membranes.
Not every candidate needs every type of evidence listed above.
Licensing requirements apply to this work in some states and territories, including NSW and Queensland. Requirements depend on the work being undertaken, its value and your role. Holding a qualification does not itself grant a licence. Check the requirements with the relevant state or territory licensing authority.
