Turn your bricklaying and blocklaying experience into a nationally recognised trade qualification through RPL.
Already laying brick and block on residential or commercial jobs? The Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying recognises the skills you use every day: setting out, laying walls, corners and piers, masonry veneer and cavity brick construction, arches, curved walls and installing flashings and damp-proof courses. Through Recognition of Prior Learning, your existing skills, knowledge and experience are assessed against the qualification requirements. Further evidence, assessment or training may be required where gaps are identified.
Experienced bricklayers, blocklayers and pavers who have never formalised their qualification.
Not every candidate needs every type of evidence listed above.
Licensing and registration requirements vary by state and territory – check with your local building regulator.
